John can teach all styles of guitar starting from beginners learning basic chords, scales, finger exercises to songs. This will usually take around 6 to 8 months depending on how much the student practises.

The next level of learning is about more advanced techniques and finding out what styles and direction of music the student would like to study. For example if you are into rock music the lessons will focus on the specific techniques needed in that style of music ensuring you get the most out of your lessons and most importantly learning what you want to play.

Learning any instrument takes time and patience and it will not happen over night. The secret is to enjoy playing what you are learning at the time and letting your music progress naturally setting only couple of goals until you are ready to move on to another level.

Advice to students:
Practice atleast 1 hour per day & come prepared for the next session
Come on time for you sessions
Always bring your guitar along with a note book
Please inform about session cancellation atleast a couple of hours prior to your scheduled time
Please pay your fees on time every month
